CFA: Professorship in Sociology

The Faculty of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Tuebingen (Department of Sociology) invites applications for a

Professorship in Sociology (W3 with tenure; Chair), starting 01 October 2010.

The successful candidate is expected to cover theoretical foundations and empirical aspects of sociology in both research and teaching. Research should focus on the analysis of processes of migration and social integration.
Cooperation with ongoing research activities in the field of education and human development is expected. Advanced academic qualifications in Sociology (Habilitation or equivalents) are required. The candidates need to have a strong record of international empirical research as well as proven teaching ability.
